Philip Linden mentioned Chaac's telescope on CNETAfter visiting the museum, Philip was interviewed by a CNET reporter, and briefly mentioned the telescope trainer at the planetarium. See the interview here.
Webcast to feature Spaceport AlphaMeno Rich of Worldbridges will tour the museum and interview several museum group members during his webcast on Sunday at 7 p.m. SLT (7 p.m. Pacific time).

Publicizing the ISM websiteI've just posted an entry on the Resident-Run Websites board in the SL forums about this site, so we may be seeing more traffic here as well as on the island.
SLURL to Spaceport AlphaIt's been suggested that we ought to have a SLURL link to the museum on our site. Good idea. What's SLURL? It's a web link that takes you directly to a page with an online map of Second Life showing the destination. Those benighted masses who have not yet downloaded the Second Life client software will be offered the opportunity to do so. Or, if you have SL already and if it's not open, it will start up the client and teleport you to the destination. So, where in the (virtual) world is Spaceport Alpha! |
