Events this Week

We promised events throughout the week, so here they are:

  • Tuesday, 7 P.M. SLT
    Kanker Greenacre talks about the Realtime Satellite Propagator (RSP)
  • Wednesday at 9 a.m., 12 noon, 3 p.m., 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
    Jimbo Perhaps introduces the C.E.V. — NASA's next manned vehicle
  • Thursday at 6 p.m.
    Chaac Amarula gives an in-world version of his RL presentation to the conference last week, where he talked about and demo'd SL and the ISM (a recursive presentation)
  • Friday at 9 p.p.
    Chris Reitveld will give a tour of the Cape Canaveral map, and talk about how and why he created it
  • Saturday at 3 p.m.
    Gearsawe Stonecutter discusses the robotic arm exhibit and talks with visitors about robots, the CanadArm (which our robot arm models functionally) and maybe something about building and scripting it.
  • Sunday, 11 a.m.
    The final event of Grand Opening Week is a presentation by a visiting Real Life NASA engineer, about the C.E.V., Crew Exploration Vehicle
