Museum to Host Live Coverage of Space Shuttle Launch on Saturday

The Space Shuttle Discovery is scheduled to launch at 12:49 pm SL time (3:49 pm EDT) on Saturday, July 1. The two main screens at the central stage have been set up to show live video coverage of the launch by NASA TV.

Continuous NASA TV Coverage

Troy agreed that we can just leave the central stage screens "tuned in" to NASA TV whenever we don't need them for other presentations, so enjoy watching whenever you are at the museum and have a moment.

Delayed Launch = Another Event

Since the launch on Saturday was scrubbed because of weather, and rescheduled for 2:26 pm Eastern Time Sunday (11:26 a.m. SLT), we will use it for an excuse for another launch party, following the presentation about the C.E.V.
