Audio/VideoNew Machinima Video Features ISM ContentWatch this YouTube video by SL resident Earth Primbee to see some of the ISM exhibits in action, including the Titan II rocket launch, and images of several other exhibits. Some of this video was recorded on Elon's Moon platform, and other parts feature NASA film clips. All in all, a great video!

Spaceport Alpha on SL Beta grid with VOICE!Joe Linden turned up during our planning group meeting Saturday to ask if we would mind if Linden Lab included Spaceport Alpha in the Second Life beta test grid. What is especially cool about this beta version is that there is capability to use integrated voice! Read Joe's blog about voice in the beta test for more information on that.
ISM on YouTubeA recent visitor told me he had come to Second Life as a result of seeing a video of our museum on YouTube. I did a search of that site and found four entries there. Click here to view them. As it turns out, these vids are all from the Virtualbridges (Worldbridges) vlog tour of the museum shortly after it opened last June. We have a link to their site here in our blog from that time. It must be true what they say, that on the internet nothing ever dies. [edited to correct the link tag - Kat]
"Second Lives" Film Includes Clips from the MuseumA new series of four short video documentaries includes one with several clips of the museum. The series, titled "Second Lives - Stories from a Digital Frontier" can be seen in the Avalon sim this week. It was produced by the UK film company Dangerous Films and shown on the UK's Channel 4. The films can also be seen this week in the Avalon sim. To see the one with the clips of the museum, go to Avalon (194,193,38), select the "Tim Guest" film (by clicking on that button), then go to one of the many video screens in the area and press the play button on your Movie Control.
New Video Includes Clip of the MuseumArtilect Prototype has created a beautiful video where he shows brief clips of himself dancing at many places in SL, including the International Spaceflight Museum. It's based on a similar series of videos where a guy named Matt dances at places all over the real world.
